ALROSA says IFRS January–March net profit soars 40% to 33 bln rbl

MOSCOW, May 16 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian diamond producer ALROSA rose 40% on the year to 33.181 billion rubles in January–March, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Revenue grew 13% to 95.969 billion rubles. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 37% to 48.039 billion rubles.
